AFPE/PLS First Year Graduate Scholarship NEW DEADLINE

The annual deadline for the AFPA/PLS First Year Scholarship has changed to May 15th.  All other information on the wesbite regarding the application remains the same.  This change is efective immediately.  Questions: contact Dr. Euler at exec_director@phiambdasigma.org

2019 Annual Meeting Seatlle, WA March 24, 2019

We look forward to seeing you at the annual meeting events in March head in conjunction with the APhA Annual meeting.

House of Delegates- Sunday, March 24, 2019 11:00am-1:00pm, Metropolitan A, Sheraton Seattle Hotel.  Delegate sign in ends at 10:55am. Officer elections and society business will take place.  Make sure you appoint your delegate.  See Announcement further down this page.

Award Reception- Sunday, March 24, 2019 5:00pm-6:30pm. Ballroom B, Sheraton Seattle Hotel.  See information further down this page.  All members, award recipients and guests are welcome.



2019-2020 Candidate statements are now being accepted

Please consider serving the society through National Office.  APplications are being accepted for President-Elect, Speaker of the House and 2 Member at Large positions. The President-Elect position candidate shall be an alumni member (faculty, practitioner) and the reaming positions are held by student members of the society. Those interested in running for office should submit the following three documents to exec_director@philambdasigm.org:  

1. Current CV or resume

2. A statement of intent indicating why you are interested in serving and what goals you have for the society

3. A brief biographical sketch

Materials shall be received at the national office (via email) by March 14th.  Biographical sketches submitted by March 14th  will be shared with chapter delegates of records prior to the House. Additionally, those candidates will be considered who submit their 3 documents at least five minutes prior to the  convening of the House proceedings on March 24th, 2019 at 11:00am in the Metropolitan A room of the Sheraton Seattle..  All  candidates must be prepared to present comments not to exceed 2 minutes at the House proceedings on March 24th.

2019 House of Delegates and Award Reception

The 44th House of Delegates will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2019 at the Sheraton Seattle Hotel,  Metropolitan A from 11:00am to 1:00pm . Infromation can also be found in the APhA  Meeting final program

Delegate appointments are being accepted now and can be submitted online through the website at PhiLambdaSigma.org Forms page.  It is is the repsonsibility of each chapter to appoint a delegate for the House in order for the business of the society to take place.  If your chapter cannot appoint a delegate this year, please contact our Speaker of the House, Regan Tyler at rntyler@go.olemiss.edu.

The Awards Reception will be held on Sunday, March 24, 2019 from 5:00pm to 6:30pm in Grand Ballroom B of the Sheraton Seattle Hotel.  All members, award recipients and geusts are invited to attend.  Awards presented: Leadership Challenge, Chapter of the Year, Advisor of the Year, Alumnus of the Year and P & G Leadership Award.  Regional Liaisons, outgoing and incoming officers will also be acknowledged.  Apetizers and beverages will be served.
